The latest release from Swedish producer Flikka is the addictive ‘Radar’. The track is held together by the loud, harsh bassline that rumbles throughout, allowing Flikka’s nimble voice above to slide between deeper notes and soaring falsetto melodies, while the catchiness of the content is never compromised. The crunchy drum kit and distortion that sometimes catches the louder vocal notes give a subtle charm to the sound of the track, which keeps a sense of familiarity with her previous release, ‘Someone To Lose’, which ended up as her first release on Blue Flowers Records.
